Top Ten Anticipated January – April 2018 Book Releases

2018 promises experiences I cannot wait to explore. I plan on traveling again (London, Paris, Dubai, and a family cruise). I plan on finishing my book and moving on the numerous tales battling for prominence in my head. Also, I plan to fight the good fight for my country, self, and family.

However, amid those plans, I, a devoted bookworm, anticipate books to fill me with joy or heartbreak as I traipse around the world. This list, I guarantee you, pains me, because I could not add all the books I yearn to read. Of course, there are more tales I anticipate beyond ten spaces. Yet, Top Tens are to be respected, albeit in their constraints.

Yeah, another tagline grabbing and enticing me to join the Book of the Month Club after months of going back and forth about joining. I bit the bullet, joined, and received my copy. Don’t proved me wrong, Hendricks.

February

March (With four anticipated releases, March is looking like my favorite literary month in 2018)

I’ve chased this book through Netgalley. Sadly, I didn’t receive an ARC. However, its blurb pushes me to buy. May this chase prove worthwhile.
Woman in coma. Her husband’s untrustworthy. She’s a liar. Boom. Win.
I won a copy from Goodreads. I told myself not to read it until 2018. Cannot wait for this fantastic tale.
This story speaks of following one’s heart. Xiomara (I knew girls by this name and I’m glad to see one in print) knows what she wants, but she’ll jump hurdles to reach her dream without risking her soul as a slam poet. This tale’s a debut. I look forward to reading Elizabeth Acevado in the future.

April

After reading Allegedly, I decided to follow Ms. Jackson’s career. I think this story speaks onto sex trafficking with the disappearance of one girl, according to its blurb. I await this nail biter.

June

Failed suicide attempts aren’t always what they seem. That’s my summation of this tale. Can’t wait.
