Kali

You prick me

to watch crimson waves

tickle my legs.

I invite you

as I sit

 a righteous glutton

of your attention

in a tub of cooling water

and iodine flashes.

Yet I starve

for the affection

your pin slices into my skin.

Constant stabs

sting my soul

as you enter your call

numbing the hurt

within me.

I love you.

Do

you

love

me?

*I wrote this poem for a minor inanimate character in my WIP, Porcelain. Though she is minor, she plays a major role in Kyra, my MC’s emotional and physical well-being. *
