The Currently Reading Tag

Currently Reading (1)

Okay! A new reading tag caught my eye, and it’s one where I don’t have to recall book titles (I like them, but boy do they make me work). Thanks to Kelly @Another Book in the Wall for showcasing this tag. Also, I like to thank Swetlana @The Caffeinated Bookworm Life for showing me the way to this awesome post.

Are you ready? Let’s go!

How Many Books Do You Usually Read At Once?

Usually, I read no more than two. I’ve read three at one time and didn’t care for that behavior. Too many at one time, lol!

The formats can either be the same or different. Physical book + Physical book. E-book + Physical book. E-book + audiobook. You get the idea.

How Do You Decide When To Switch Between Multiple Reads?

I read a given amount daily. If I’m reading both a physical book and an ebook, I’ll read at least sixty pages of the former and a 10% (at least) of the latter.

Do You Ever Switch Bookmarks Partway Through A Book?

Nope. I’m loyal to what I pick.

Where Do You Keep the Book(s) You’re Currently Reading?

Either in my nightstand or at least one of them in the tote bag I’m carrying at the moment.

What Time Of Day Do You Read The Most?

I’m best in the morning. My eyes are open and ready to go. While I do read as the day progresses, I’m more likely distracted by my family, my writing, or whatever else is going on.

How Long Do You Typically Read In One Session?

Depends on the day! I can read twenty minutes at a time or an hour. My day dictates the length.

Do You Read Hardbacks With the Dust Jacket Off?

I’m a convert. I used to read with them on. No longer a stickler, I take them off to avoid damaging the jacket.

What Position Do You Mainly Use To Read?

Propped against several pillows, unless I’m listening to an audiobook where I can lie down.

Do You Take Your Current Read With You Everywhere You Go?

Yes! I take a book everywhere I go, either on my phone or physical copy.

How Often Do You Update Your Goodreads Reading Progress?

After each session, I prefer to jot my progress immediately. Keep them moving, you know?
