I Got Some Fresh Air (The Quarantine Papers)

I got some fresh air today. Had to since my doctor’s appointment mattered more than most things. I’m doing okay, although my sleep schedule’s off-kilter. I go to bed at nine o’clock, only to wake up at four in the morning.

No problem. I read during that time. So, it’s good. The doctor agrees that as long as I sleep for at least six hours, I’m fine. He handed me my drug slip and I left.

Off to Target. Still no toilet paper on the shelves. It’s a shame. I’m grateful for my stockpile. I managed to get what I needed, including disinfectant wipes. My phone can get a wipe down when necessary.

I’m back home watching “Mrs. America” with Cate Blanchett and a host of good actresses. It’s entertaining. That Phyliss Scaffly (whatever the spelling) is a stone-cold bitch. May she rest in hell.

I could use more fresh air. I might stick my head out the window later.

P.S. I’m in the fourth month of a major writer’s block. Help!

  1. Check out a book called ‘The War of Art’ by Steven Pressfield. Might help w/ your writer’s block☺️
